How to Play
From nothing to Sarnaut in about an hour
Most of that hour is the download. The rest is three steps, no payment details and no waiting for approval.
Open beta begins in October 2026. Registration and the client download unlock at that moment — until then the buttons below will point you at the Discord, where the exact date is announced first.
Download the client
The full 5.0 client, packaged as a single installer. Install it anywhere except C:\Program Files — Windows blocks the launcher from self-updating there, which is the cause of roughly every "patching failed" report we get.
Launch, patch, play
The launcher checks your files, pulls the current server patch and hands you the login window. First launch takes a few minutes while it verifies; after that it is seconds. Log in with your panel credentials — there is no separate game account.
Only ever download the client from this domain or from a link posted in the official Discord. Reuploads on file-sharing sites are not ours and we cannot vouch for what is in them.
System requirements
It is a 2013 client. Your laptop is fine.
The bar is low on purpose — a big part of why this era is still worth playing is that almost anyone can run it at a locked frame rate.

If something goes wrong
The four problems we actually get asked about.
The launcher says patching failed
Almost always a permissions problem. Move the install folder out of Program Files, or right-click the launcher and choose "Run as administrator" once so it can rewrite its own files.
The client crashes on startup
Update your graphics driver, then delete the file the launcher created in the game folder called user settings and let it regenerate at defaults. Overlays — Discord, MSI Afterburner, Steam — are the second most common cause.
I am connecting from outside Europe
The shard is hosted in Frankfurt, Germany. Chosen for balanced ping across Europe, the Middle East and North America. Players in North America and the Middle East report a playable experience; if your route is bad, ask in the Discord — several regional communities share routing fixes.
Is my antivirus supposed to flag the launcher?
Some heuristics flag any unsigned game launcher that patches itself. We publish a SHA-256 checksum for every build next to the download link so you can verify the file you received is the file we shipped.
